THIS is why the workshops are something I’m so passionate about!!!

Such a powerful story, and an experience that will never be forgotten — and something mom was able to capture the way she wanted because she had the skills & knowledge to DO IT!

Would she have called up a professional photographer to document this part of her life???!! HECK NO! Will she probably still hire professional photographers to create portraits for her family in the future? Probably!

So, I’m not worried about losing business or arming moms with tools that will “diminish” my own photography business. I’m THRILLED about giving moms power like this!

GO MOM!!!

What a heartbreaking story & powerful images! I’m so glad she’s OK! Kids are miracles!

Me Ra, thank you so much for sharing this! Kleenex is right. It’s heartbreaking to see her little girl lying there in a daze, just burning up. I can only imagine how scary that must have been for everyone. But what a brave Mama to pull out her camera and capture the beauty at such a tough time. It really reminds me that beauty is everywhere, even in the pain. Thank you again for sharing!~Erin
