What about Summer Vacation photos as the contest theme?
Lots of us are in the first few weeks of kids out of school and there’s plenty to take new photos of!
I think something that reminds us of summer would be cool.

what about a Father’s Day theme
What about one focusing on the “details”.
I agree with Michele a Father Day’s Theme would be nice

How about kids at play? If we had a husband’s in their underwear theme… I’d have a broken camera after the ambush!

What about something to do with water? This could include swimming, the beach, sprinklers, dish washing, the rain, etc etc - fun to photograph and so so summery (especially the rain…).

There are tons of things to do with water esp. in the summer and some parts of the country the weather has been real weird so its still raining…
Okay, okay… if not hubby boudoir, then I like the water idea as well.

But i also have another idea.. or a PLEASE.. can you tell me what kinda laptop is great to get for photography?? i work with cs3 and lightroom and i am just so in need of a laptop but i just don’t know which one! if you could help me it would be amazing! oh and did you ever tried out the d40? what you think??

I like the details idea. I’d save the summery ideas for a little later into summer when it’s a little hotter and people have had a wee bit more time to get into summer.
Water or fathers would be a great theme!!! I would love to be able to participate, so by having summer or america, you make so many of us unwelcome.
I love the idea of an ‘American’ theme since it is so close to the 4th of July and I think that there is a lot of wonderful photos that can come from this theme but I do agree with Carol that some people do not live in the US that visit this blog and would like to participate as well.
So with that being said, I am all for a ‘Fathers’ theme! How cute and wonderful those photos would turn out!
We live in the Northeast, which is having a heat wave right now, so I’ll agree with Amie in her first post. I think “Summertime Cool” would be a great theme for a contest. It would be able to take in lots of the other themes people have suggested like Father’s Day and water. Take care! Ed
